Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 oz. bag caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 box any chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk in double boiler over boiling water.
Cover and stir until melted.
Keep warm.
Mix cake mix, butter and remaining 1/3 cup milk at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Spread 1/2 of batter in 13 x 9-inch greased baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Cool 2 minutes.
Spread warm caramel mixture carefully over baked layer.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over this.
Stir 1/2 cup nuts into remaining batter and drop by spoonfuls over chocolate chips.
Sprinkle remaining cup of nuts over top of this and bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 minutes.
Cool and cut into bars.
