Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    4 c. granulated sugar
    1 large can evaporated milk
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
    1 jar marshmallow whip
    1 tsp. vanilla
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cook the first 3 ingredients until forms soft ball in cold water (240\u00b0).
    Remove from heat.
    Add the chocolate bits, marshmallow whip and vanilla.
    Beat until chocolate bits are melted.
    May sprinkle chopped nuts over top.
    Makes large batch.
