Dr. Grundy'S Killer Dip - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 c. milk (2% or skim)
1 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
6 large cloves garlic
Preparation

Set out cream cheese and allow to warm to room temperature, about 2 hours.
Put onion soup in a 1 cup Pyrex measuring cup and add milk until level is 1/2 cup.
(Do not put in a whole 1/2 cup of milk.)
Allow to stand at room temperature for 45 minutes with occasional stirring, until mixture hydrates and onion bits are soft.
Peel garlic cloves and chop very fine or run through garlic press.
