Dejean Shrimp Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) blocks cream cheese
    2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans shrimp
    1 can jalapeno relish
    1/2 c. grated onion
Preparation
    Place softened cream cheese and grated onion into bowl.
    Pour jalapeno relish into colander and shake until all liquid is drained.
    Pour into bowl.
    Place shrimp into colander and run under cold water until rinsed thoroughly.
    Mash shrimp by hand and place into mixture.
    Mix thoroughly until well blended.
    Serve with crackers.
