Jelly Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. sugar
    4 egg whites
    1/2 c. jelly or jam
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine flour and baking powder; set aside.
    In a mixing bowl, beat egg yolks and vanilla with electric mixer on high for 5 minutes or until thick and lemon colored.
    Gradually add the 1/3 cup sugar, beating on high until sugar is nearly dissolved.
    Wash beaters.
