Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1 c. unbleached flour
1 egg
1/2 c. oil
1 1/4 c. milk (can be soy)
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. tomato paste
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Saute in pan with 1/4 cup oil the onions.
Mix in tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil and garlic powder.
Stir well and let set.
