Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    sprinkle of nutmeg
Preparation
    Scald milk; beat eggs well.
    Mix all ingredients; beat well. Pour in unbaked pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until firm.
