Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. plus 1 pt. milk
    1 lb. Carolina rice
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    vanilla to taste
    raisins, boiled in water and drained (optional)
Preparation
    Heat milk.
    Before it boils, add rice and 1/2 the sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Keep on medium to medium-high heat and cook 25 to 30 minutes, stirring constantly.
