Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. sliced cucumbers
    1 onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onions and salt.
    Let stand for 2 hours.
    Drain off liquid.
    Combine sugar and vinegar.
    Bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved.
    Add celery seed.
    Put cucumbers and onions in plastic freezer containers; pour syrup on top.
    Close tightly and freeze.
