Barbecued Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. ketchup
    1/4 c. water
    2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of red pepper
    24 large or jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined
    12 bacon slices, cut in halves
Preparation
    Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add onion; saute until soft and transparent. Stir in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar, tomato paste, dry mustard and red pepper. Stirring occasionally, simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Immediately stir shrimp into sauce, covering completely. Let stand 15 minutes.
