Cass' Wedding Day Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
6 c. water
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
1 1/2 to 2 liters ginger ale, chilled
5 bananas, mashed
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
Preparation

Combine sugar and water in saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cool.
Combine next 4 ingredients with sugar mixture.
Pour into a 5-quart freezer container and freeze until firm.
Remove mixture from freezer several hours before serving (mixture should be slushy).
Pour into punch bowl and stir in ginger ale.
Yields 2 1/2 gallons.
