Strawberry Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. strawberries
    1 (10 or 12 oz.) angel food cake
Preparation
    Mix jello, water and sugar.
    Mash strawberries; mix in and chill for 1 1/2 hours.
    Fold Cool Whip into mixture.
    Crumble cake; put into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Pour mixture over top.
    Chill.
