Pork And Soy Sauce With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork chops
    3 small onions
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 c. chicken stock
    2 tsp. cooking sherry
    1/4 tsp. m.s.g.
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. cooked green peas
Preparation
    Thinly slice the pork and onions.
    Heat the oil in pan and fry the pork.
    Add the onions; continue cooking over medium heat until tender.
    Add the sugar, salt, soy sauce, soup stock, sherry and m.s.g.; boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Add pepper to taste.
    Mix the cornstarch in the cold water; add to the soup to thicken.
    Add the green peas and serve, piping hot.
