3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream (8 oz. carton)
cinnamon sugar
Preparation

Measure flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda into sifter.
Cream butter with sugar until well blended in a large bowl.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift in flour mixture; adding alternately with sour cream and blending well to make thick batter.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 4 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
Spread into 2 inch rounds and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 12 minutes or until lightly golden around edges.
