Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cakes yeast
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast 5 minutes in 1 cup water.
    Combine shortening, sugar and salt.
    Add 1 cup water and egg; mix until blended.
    Add 3 cups flour; stir until smooth and elastic.
    Add remaining flour, stirring; knead.
    Refrigerate in greased bowl.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
