Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can asparagus spears
    4 hard-boiled eggs
    1 (4 oz.) can pimentos
    1 (5 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt
    butter in heavy saucepan.
    Mix in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add grated cheese and as it begins to melt; add milk. Cook
    until
    thick.
    Place
    1/2
    of
    bread crumbs in bottom of casserole.
    Put
    remaining
    ingredients
    in
    layers, beginning with
    asparagus,
    sliced
    eggs, pimentos, mushrooms, then pour over part
    of
    sauce.
    Make another layer and top with crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
