Texas Hot Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans tomato soup
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of ground cloves
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 onions, chopped fine
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 bay leaves
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in a large kettle.
    Pour off fat.
    Place soup into kettle; add about one soup can of water, then add all the other ingredients.
    Mix well; bring to a boil, then simmer slowly until mixture thickens, about 2 hours.
    If desired, a tablespoon or two of flour dissolved in a small amount of water may be added near the end of the cooking time.
    Remove bay leaves before serving; serve over grilled hot dogs.
    First spread mustard over dog, then add chopped onions and top with sauce.
