Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Work first 5 ingredients until very fine crumbs.
    Remove 2 cups of crumbs and set aside.
    Add remaining crumbs to remaining ingredients.
    Beat until smooth.
    Divide batter into 3 (8-inch) greased round pans.
    Top with remaining crumbs that were set aside. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
