Ingredients

1 1/2 c. margarine
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation

Combine butter and cocoa in a small saucepan.
Heat just until margarine melts.
Set aside. Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl, beating well. Add flour and vanilla.
Mix well. Add chocolate mixture, beating until blended.
Stir in pecans and/or chocolate chips. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 15-inch pan in a preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
