Mom Riley'S Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
    Add 1/2 cup milk; mix until smooth.
    Add egg yolks; mix well.
    Add remainder of milk and vanilla.
    Cook until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.
    Brown in 425\u00b0 oven for 4 to 5 minutes.
