Tangy Lemon Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. Crisco shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Mix together the shortening, salt, 1 cup sugar and lemon peel. (Eight to 10 drops of yellow food coloring can be added if desired.)
Add lemon juice, water and remaining sugar and mix until smooth and creamy.
