Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 scant c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda, in milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Mix flour, brown sugar and butter or margarine by hand like pie dough.
    Mix vanilla, sour milk, soda, salt and egg with spoon. Bake in long pan.
    Take out 1 cup crumbs before you put liquid in.
    Beat with spoon.
    Spread crumbs on top.
    You may sprinkle with cinnamon if you wish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
