Sesame Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sesame seed
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. cream
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Toast sesame seed in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    In 3-quart saucepan, combine both sugars and cream.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until dissolved.
    Wash crystals from sides of pan.
    Cook to 230\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add butter, pecans and sesame seed. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, to 234\u00b0 (soft ball stage).
    Remove from heat.
    Cool 2 to 3 minutes, then stir until thickened.
    Working fast, drop from spoon onto buttered waxed paper.
    Cool.
