Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    4 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 lb. raisins
Preparation
    Mix sugar, eggs and shortening.
    Add milk, flour, spices, vanilla and lemon flavoring.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Bake in 3 x 8-inch layer pans at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
