Pixie Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    4 c. berries
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 10-inch baking dish.
    Coat berries with 1 cup of sugar.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Stir in milk gradually; beat well.
    Pour batter into melted butter and mix lightly.
    Pour berries in pan, spreading them evenly over batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Berries will sink into batter while baking. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
