Sweet Tooth Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/4 c. shredded coconut
    2 c. Cheerios
    1 c. milk chocolate chips
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine peanut butter, corn syrup, sugar and coconut until blended. Stir in cereal. Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. In small saucepan over medium heat, melt chocolate chips and shortening. Dip balls halfway into chocolate; place on wax paper-lined baking sheets to harden. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen.
