Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 tsp. salt
    1 c. pitted dates, chopped
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Stir in nuts and dates.
    Mix eggs well. Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 19-inch pan.
    Bake at 370\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cut into squares while warm and roll in powdered sugar.
