Easy Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. cucumbers, washed
4 Tbsp. each: salt, alum and pickling spice
8 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix
salt, alum,
pickling
spice
and\tcucumbers
with enough vinegar
to cover.
Let set 3 months; drain and rinse. Drain thoroughly again.
Cut cucumbers in thick slices and put back in gallon jar and cover with 8 cups sugar.
