Ingredients

3 or 4 cold biscuits, broken into small chunks
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt in the top of a double boiler; stir in milk.
Cook over boiling water, stirring until thick. Beat egg yolks and stir into hot mixture.
Cook 5 minutes more, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
