Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. white sugar
1 c. white Karo
1/2 c. water
3 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1/2 stick oleo
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Boil sugar, Karo and water until thread spins. Add the peanuts and then stir continuously after the peanuts are added. Cook until it turns a brownish gold. Take from fire. Add butter, salt and soda. Pour onto buttered board and cool.
