Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. cooking oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except grated cheese.
    Grease pan or skillet.
    Pour half the mixture into skillet and sprinkle on cheese. Do not stir.
    Cover with remaining mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
