"Quickie" Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Betty Crocker carrot cake mix
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. applesauce
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. pitted dates
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. mixed candied fruit
Preparation
    Disregard instructions on cake package.
    Spray a Bundt pan with Pam and dust lightly with flour.
    Mix all ingredients together and pour into prepared pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until inserted toothpick comes out clean, approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
    Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream, if desired.
