Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. diced carrots
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced onion
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. rice
    1 1/2 qt. water
Preparation
    Brown hamburger in heavy kettle.
    Add vegetables, seasonings and the rice and water.
    Simmer slowly for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
