1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. corn syrup
4 c. Kix
Preparation

Butter a 9 x 9-inch pan.
Heat chips, 1/2 syrup and butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat; stir in 2 cups of cereal until well coated.
Spread in pan.
Heat peanut butter, remaining syrup and the vanilla.
Remove from heat when smooth; stir in remaining cereal until well coated. Spread over mixture in pan.
Refrigerate until firm.
