Seven Course Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
    1/8 c. uncooked rice
    1 lb. lean hamburger, browned with 1 chopped onion
    1 qt. chopped tomatoes
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in order given in buttered casserole, adding salt, pepper and rice each time.
    Sprinkle with crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
