Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

3/4 cup soft butter
3 tbsp. sugar
3 c. cold strawberries (sliced)
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
1 box strawberry jello (large)
8 oz. package soft cream cheese
1 small container cool whip
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar, add crushed pretzels. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 minutes. Dissolve jello in boiling water, 2 cups. Stir well. Add strawberries. Put in refrigerator until almost congealed. Mix cool whip with sugar. Pile on top of baked pretzels, pour strawberries and jello mixture on top of cream cheese. Refrigerate several hours.
