Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. sirloin steak, sliced
    1 box mushrooms
    3 thinly sliced green onions
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    3/4 c. dry sherry
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can consomme
    1 tsp. salt
    1 carton sour cream (1 c.)
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms and onions in 3 tablespoons butter.
    Add thyme and wine.
    Simmer until liquid is reduced to 1/4 cup.
