Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
3 eggs
4 Tbsp. canned milk
2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients or sift together.
Add 3 cups of the flour alternately with the canned milk. Add vanilla. The other 1 cup of flour should be used on rolling surface.
Bake about 8 to 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
(If this browns cookies too rapidly, reduce to 325\u00b0.)
Cool and frost.
