Ingredients

1 c. oil
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening, oil and sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Add oatmeal, vanilla, coconut and Rice Krispies.
Add flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Put in refrigerator until the dough is firm.
Roll in balls the size of a walnut.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned, in 350\u00b0 oven.
Makes 90 cookies.
