Eleanor'S Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    6 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil together sugar, molasses and Crisco.
    Cool and add eggs, spices and salt.
    Add baking soda to warm water, then mix all ingredients together.
    Let stand overnight or freeze for future use.
    Roll about 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Makes 10 to 15 dozen.
    Easy to roll out; great for Christmas cookies.
