Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    3 c. white vinegar
    6 Tbsp. coarse salt
    1/2 garlic clove per jar
    5 lb. carrots
Preparation
    Heat first 3 ingredients.
    Place remaining ingredients in jar. Pour liquid into jars and close tightly.
    Refrigerate for 3 weeks.
