Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    4 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg or cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat milk until hot, but not boiling.
    Beat eggs in a large bowl.
    Add sugar and salt.
    Add milk slowly, stirring all the time.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Pour into a baking pan.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour, or until a knife stuck in the center comes out clean.
