Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag tortilla chips, crushed
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 cans chopped green chiles (1 can optional)
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper or to taste
    4 c. chopped, boiled chicken
    3/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine 1/2 bag of chips with all other ingredients, except cheese.
    Put in a 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Top with cheese and remaining chips.
    Bake until cheese melts and casserole is warm, about 45 minutes.
