Grandma'S Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising corn meal
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped onion (green or white)
    1 whole chicken, boil and deboned (reserve broth)
    2 Tbsp. black pepper
    3 c. reserved chicken broth
    3 biscuits (white bread may be substituted)
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 stick margarine
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 Tbsp. garlic
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, buttermilk and eggs for corn bread.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Crumble biscuits in bowl and add milk.
    Let stand.
    Simmer until tender the celery, onion, margarine and 1 cup water.
    Combine:
    corn bread, biscuit mixture, onion-celery mix, chicken, chicken broth, chicken soup, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown on edges.
