Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water. Measure and sift dry ingredients together. Cut shortening into mixture. Add milk and yeast. Stir until well blended. Store in refrigerator about 1 hour before baking. Roll dough 1/2-inch. Cut into biscuits. Let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown. Yields 24.
