Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pecans
    3/4 lb. chopped candied pineapple
    3/4 lb. chopped candied cherries
    1 lb. seedless white raisins
    1 bottle French's brandy flavoring (1 oz.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. soft butter
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and eggs in large bowl.
    Add dry ingredients (sift together).
    Combine, using heavy spoon or hands.
    Add nuts, fruit and flavoring.
    Bake 1 pound loaves at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours and tube pan at 275\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Half hour before done, take out of oven and brush with honey and corn syrup.
    Continue baking.
    Turn upside down to cool.
    Wrap in a wine cloth.
    Store in a plastic bag in a cool place.
