Sliced Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. ground turmeric
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    4 qt. zucchini
    1 qt. onions, sliced
Preparation
    Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to a boil; pour over zucchini (sliced and unpeeled) and onions.
    Let stand 1 hour. Cook 3 minutes.
    Pack in hot jars.
    Put lids on, and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
    Makes 6 or 7 pints.
