Funghetto Sauce For Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 to 4 green peppers, cut into wedges
    1 pt. mushrooms, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, halved
    1 to 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 c. or more Marsala wine (dry)
Preparation
    Saute vegetables with garlic in butter; remove garlic.
    Add tomato paste and wine.
    Simmer briefly but do not overcook vegetables.
    May be prepared early in day.
    When ready to serve, add additional wine to taste and heat thoroughly.
    Serve with sliced tenderloin steak or other cooked beef.
