Homemade Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 10 large potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
    2 leeks, washed and cut into bite-size pieces (optional)
    2 onions, chopped
    1 celery stalk, sliced
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    5 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt and pepper to taste
    1/3 c. butter
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    chopped chives
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except evaporated milk and chives in crock-pot or large pot on stove.
    Stir in evaporated milk and chives when soup is done.
