Savory Meatballs In Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 bay leaf
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/4 tsp. each pepper and nutmeg
    2 c. beef bouillon
    flour
Preparation
    Mix ground beef, salt, eggs, margarine and onion together. Shape in 2-inch balls and roll in flour.
    Brown on all sides in the margarine.
    Add 1 1/2 cups bouillon and the bay leaf.
    Bring to boil, cover and simmer 1/2 hour.
    Mix 1/4 cup flour with remaining bouillon until smooth.
    Stir into mixture and cook, stirring gently, until thickened.
    Good with mashed potatoes.
